In 1991, Anantham Silks' Parent Company was established in the heart of Ramanathapuram town. Moving out of native village in Virudhunagar district, the Founders landed in Ramanathapuram in search of better opportunities. Started as a textile wholesaler, the business soon evolves as a textile retailer with its first ever retail showroom being opened at the heart of Ramanathapuram town in 1991.
By 2001, the company had firmly established itself as a leading textile retailer in Ramanathapuram district. With excellent customer service and exquisite collections, our reputation for quality and authenticity began spreading, building strong relationships and trust with customers across the region. During this period, we also expanded our offerings beyond sarees, introducing a diverse collection that included kids’ wear, men's ready-made clothing, and ladies' ready-made garments, solidifying our presence in the market as a brand that caters to the entire family.
With a keen vision to growth, Anantham Silks planned to expand its presence into multiple cities to increase its customer base. In 2013, Anantham Silks successfully opened its first branch in Kumbakonam. With an impressive customer response, Anantham further expanded into Thanjavur in 2016
By 2020, Anantham Silks had carved out a unique space in the competitive textile market. Our combination of traditional craftsmanship, high-quality products, and diverse offerings enabled us to stand out as a trusted name in the industry.With an excellent reputation and unparalleled customer response, Anantham widened its presence to Rajapalayam, Pudukottai and Cuddalore in years of 2021-2022.
Now in 2024, Anantham Silks stands as a testament to the enduring power of tradition, innovation, and craftsmanship. With over 30 years of experience, we continue to be a beacon of quality in the textile industry. Our unwavering commitment to producing authentic handloom products, combined with a modern approach to fashion, has enabled us to thrive in an ever-changing market. We aim to grow tall and expand our presence into multiple other parts of Tamil Nadu, where our customers want us.
